Starting soon: courses in the stuff The Ritman Library is made of

Would you like to know more about the ideas and symbols related to The Ritman Library’s collection or become familiar with their history? This is possible in weekly get-togethers starting soon in Amsterdam, Utrecht and a few other cities in the Netherlands. This autumn, Joyce Pijnenburg, formerly on the staff of The Ritman Library, more recently affiliated to the University of Amsterdam (Center for History of Hermetic Philosophy) is offering courses for various educational institutions on subjects such as Hermetic philosophy, mysticism, astrology and alchemy. The courses (in Dutch) are divided into series of two, six and ten classes, and range from ancient history to the present. Have a look at the course descriptions on the website of Joyce’s company and feel free to contact her.

The September newsletter will feature a new blog post by Joyce about art and alchemy.
